Grass Mats & Baobabs |

We have been working with SIM in Burkina Faso since the end of the year 2000 and after living in Ouagadougou for just over a year we made the move up to Djibo where our ministry is now based. Djibo is one of the main northern market towns and is home to a large number of Fulanis as well as other peoples such as the Tuareg and Soninke. |

On moving to Djibo in 2002 we began by acquiring the Fulani language, fulfulde, as this was the people group we would be working amongst in our church planting ministry. |

Although the focus of our ministry is church planting amongst the Fulani people Cheryl Spends much of her time home schooling the children as there are no suitable schools where we live. |
